學生在申請大學的過程中，可能會遇到各式各樣的面試，除了最基本的大學面試外，還可能有獎學金面試，甚至是採用線上的方式進行面試。
乍看之下好像很複雜、很困難，事實上所有的面試都是由一些制式元素組成，只要你了解它們，並多進行面試練習，相信你也可以應對的很好喔！
面試流程
當你進行面試時，通常有三個部分，第一部分是面試官介紹今天的面試程序，接下來進入正式面試，最後是結尾與提問時間：
1. 面試簡介
在開始面試前，面試官會簡單介紹一下面試的程序，例如面試時間大約多長、簡單介紹一下學校或企業概況，也可能會簡單先問一下你的情況與心情，並安慰你，跟你說不要緊張。
在這之前，還有一些事情是你可能要注意的：
- 無論是面對面的面試還是線上面試，都請注意準時，並且提前把手機關機或調成靜音模式。
- 對話時請注意禮貌與用語，並記得在名字前後加上正確的稱謂，例如某某教授、某某學長/姊、某某先生/小姐等。
- 面試時間通常會在一小時內，但也可能會超過，取決於面試問題和你們的問答情況。
- 盡可能找到與面試官的共同點，例如共同興趣、共同想法等，這樣面試起來也會更輕鬆自然，也容易讓面試官對你產生深刻的印象。
2. 正式面試
- 絕大多數面試的第一題，面試官都會請你自我介紹，或是聊聊你的一些經歷。
- 請記得保持你的熱情與自信，但不要過度驕傲或自我中心。
- 誠實很重要！千萬不要為了讓面試官印象深刻或加分，而編造一些不是事實的謊言。
- 在面試過程中，請記得說明學校將如何幫你實現目標，例如有想參加的課程、想學習的教授，或是想參加的活動等，這是向面試官展現你對學校感興趣最好的方式。
3. 結尾與問答時間
- 在面試結束前，面試官會反問是否有想了解的問題，這時候一定要準備 2-3 個問題做詢問。
- 面試結束後，請記得感謝面試官願意花時間協助面試。

- Why do you want to major/minor in your field?
- What strengths do you hope to utilize throughout your college experience?
- What weaknesses do you hope to strengthen in university?
- How did the pandemic affect you?
- What are your career goals?
- Where do you see yourself in ten years?
- Are there any outside circumstances that would inhibit your application that you’d like me to know?
2. 獎學金面試
- Please introduce yourself.
- What organizations or extracurriculars are you involved in?
- What do you like to do during your free time?
- What do you plan to do for the summer?
- What is an issue that you confronted in your personal life or community, and how did it affect you?
- How do you usually spend money?
- How much money do you wish to get from the scholarship program, and why?
- What makes you a good candidate for this scholarship?
- How do you plan on using the scholarship money if you win?
- What strengths do you hope to utilize with this scholarship?
- What weaknesses do you hope to strengthen with this scholarship?
- How does what you will use the money for play into your long-term goals?
- How did the pandemic affect you and/or our family?
- What are your career goals?
- Where do you see yourself in ten years?
在準備這些面試問題時，你可以先把自己的答案寫下來，之後詢問父母、老師、朋友或 Ivy-Way 輔導顧問這樣回答好不好。之後就可以開始進行面試練習，只要多練習，正式面試的那天就不會感到緊張了。

面試感到緊張，不知道要怎麼準備，怎麼辦？
面試是一個令學生感到非常緊張的一個部分，畢竟學生知道面試的表現可能會直接影響最終的錄取與否，而且面試不像是準備一份申請表的有很多時間準備，學生需要面對一個真人面試官，所以需要學生具有極佳的臨場反應。
在申請大學時，有一些學校會有面試的環節。在 Ivy-Way，升學顧問會給學生非常全面的面試輔導，跟學生解釋面試的細節跟技巧，並與學生做面試模擬練習，讓學生在面試時有非常耀眼的表現。
如果你會為面試感到緊張，或者不知道該怎麼更完整準備面試，我們建議你可以照以下3個步驟做面試準備：

面試前，我們建議你把這篇文章再重新複習幾次，熟悉面試的流程，並把文章中的面試問題全部都想過一遍，把你的答案寫下來，背起來。你可能不會被問到所有的題目，但先準備好，如果有被問到就可以用了。
2. 把自己回答的過程錄起來，或找朋友一起練習
Ivy-Way 的顧問會與學生練習回答面試的問題，不過如果你只有自己，你可以在準備面試答案之後把你的回答用手機錄影起來，再自己回播看自己表現得如何。自己看自己的錄影可能會感到很尷尬，但這樣你才能知道如何能回答得更好。
3. 找 Ivy-Way 的升學顧問進行面試輔導
