IB跟AP有什麼不同？

另外，IB跟AP也時常被拿來做比較，他們雖然同樣屬於進階級的高中課程，但是兩者之間還是有一點差異，以下我們舉出幾個重點，其餘請參考下面這篇文章的說明：

IB是兩年制課程；AP則只有一年。
IB分數是1-7分；AP則是1-5分。
IB有兩種難度的課程，分別是標準級別SL和高階級別HL；AP則只有一種難度。
IB在考試方式上有選擇題、報告及口試；AP則是選擇題、簡答或作文。

IB學校是什麼？

IB學校指的是經過國際文憑組織（International Baccalaureate Organization, 簡稱IBO）認證的學校，這些受過認證的學校就可以開設IB課程。

而IB課程又被細分成4種：

PYP (Primary Years Program)：幼稚園到國小階段的課程。
MYP (Middle Years Program)：國小高年級到國中階段的課程。
DP (Diploma Program)：高中階段的課程，台灣學生通常都是為了申請國外大學而上這系列的課程，學分也會被部分大學承認。
CP (Career-Related Program)：同樣是高中階段的課程，但是跟工作比較相關，有點類似職業學校那樣提供專門技術的課程。
