如果选择合适的大学课程的时候，学生可能会因为不同原因需要跟学校电话或电子邮件联系。如果信件写得方式不对，不会让让对方觉得没礼貌，如果有特殊请求可能会被拒绝。大家分写信件需要的内容，让学生跟学校沟通时可以更专业！

谁可以写信给学校

只有学生可以写信给大学！如果寄件人是家长、亲戚、或顾问，会让美国大学觉得学生很不成熟，是一个妈宝。高中生已经有能力跟责任要为自己负责了，所以这封信必须是学生自己写。

什么情况要写信给大学

报名一堂课之前，你可能会有下面这些原因须要写信给学校：

大学官网上的资讯不完整，你想了解一堂课程的资料
你想询问你能不能（或有没资格）上一堂课
你有特殊情况（如无法参与其中一周的课程）希望了解你是否还是能上
你有特殊请求，希望得到对方同意
你有其他问题想问学校或教授

Email內容

Part 0: 主旨

内容：简单描述寄信原因

范例：”Questions regarding taking Bio-101 as a high school student” 或 “Interested in Bio-101”

Part 1: 尊称

内容：有礼貌的称呼对方

范例：Dear Professor Smith 或 Dear BU Summer Program Office

Part 2: 介绍自己

內容：1) 自己的名字，2) 简介

范例：My name is James (Yi-Wei) Lin, and I am a rising senior studying at Taipei American School in Taiwan, an international school under the AP system.

Part 3: 说明原因

内容：解释写信的目的

范例：I am very interested in taking your online class “BIO-100: Introduction to Biology and Life Sciences,” and I’m wondering if I am eligible to register for this class as a high school student.

Part 4: 背景情况

内容：解释自己的情况（成绩、课程等），说明合适这堂课的原因（感兴趣、自我提升、大学科系、未来工作等），说服对方让你上课

范例：I received 98 in my AP Biology class last year, and I scored a 5 on the AP test. I am planning to major in biology next year and follow the pre-med track, so I wish to take advanced biology courses to enrich my knowledge and be better prepared for college. I am fully aware of the expectations and commitments for this class as stated in the syllabus, and I will be attending all lectures on time as well as work on the assignments and tests to my best ability.

Part 5: 结尾

内容：结尾，并感谢对方的时间或回信

范例：Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to your reply.

Part 6: 署名

範例：Sincerely, James (Yi-Wei) Lin
